#AskTheExpert my baby is 6 months old I want to stop breastfeeding, can I dry with the help of medicine or does it has any side effects ?

it's better to continue the breastfeeding till 2 years of age.
but if you have some personal issues to stop with breastfeeding then it's better to consult with your gynecologist as there will be chances of sudden engorgement as the milk will be usually full at this age.
normally after one year of age if you stop breastfeeding you can tie a shawl around the breast, but now it is just six months better to consult with your gynecologist
