#asktheexpert my baby is 5 months old and he itches a lot behind his ears and above his eyes so is it because he is teething? please tell us

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is very common for small children to have itching in the ears as well as pulling the ears and also having itching and pulling of the nose as well as sometimes eyes and it does not require any treatment if the child is not crying.
this type of itching may continue for 2 years maximum

kindly see that the child does not have any local factor like hairs which might be irritating this part of the body

Get your baby personally examined by your doctor and seek further advice. Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
