#AskTheExpert my baby is 3.5 months old and he's getting very cranky.. He doesn't want to be laid down and even while feeding he applies pressure and keeps crying until i pick him up. He keeps crying if laid down and soon as we start playing with him or pick him up he gets calm. Why is this happening I can't understand.

Babies often pull off and fuss during growth spurts. Most babies go through growth spurts, sometimes called frequency days, during the first few days at home and around 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months (more or less).
