#AskTheExpert my baby is 2006 days old her to on stomach is 99.6 and feels hot to touch and her temp on head 98 which to consider as she is newborn generally she is kept warm with sweater n al so most of time she is warm.. how do I know she has fever

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. If you taken temperature correct method with thermometer placing in armpit fir 1 min, if it is less than 100 degrees F it's normal .
if it is more than 100 F consult paediatrician

Its Got fever because the you know it is the normal temperature is below 99° fahrenheit but would not be considered as fever you mostly count the temperature is calculated when you keep it into the mouth or into the ambit of the child so that’s the right temperature to go for Also don’t understand the age of your child what it is you have mentioned 2006 as the age of your child
