#asktheexpert My baby is 2 and a half years old but he is not trying to speak. He makes some different sounds. We have tried to encourage him to speak by telling stories and asking some things. He understands a few things but doesn't respond with words. I’m very sad about this. Can you give me some advice?

A. hello looks like tgete is speech delay n will be better ti chk ur doctor if speech therapy is needed for the child whicj improves the speech gradually n nothi g to worry about
