#AskTheExpert my baby is 1year old and is having loose slimy motions since morning .....can probiotic help n can it be given now as he has slight fever too n is on paracet an antibiotic since yest....

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. .Loose motion is mainly due to some viral infection . And is treated by just probiotics like enterogermina and o r s to drink for prevention of any type of dehydration . If any vomiting then vomikind can be given for that . Also avoid milk .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. You Please get a check with your paediatrician because it seems like your child is suffering with a stomach infection which is why the motion is like this in your child has got slight fever also it’s better to take a proper consultation with a doctor
