#asktheexpert My baby is 14 months old and she has not got a single tooth yet. What would be the reason? Is it a matter of concern? What should i do?

A. for tooth development and eruption the first important thing is that the child should not have deficiency of calcium and vitamin d. deficiency is there or not will be told by the doctor there is no need to worry because many times the first tooth eruption may occur as late as 18 months also so if your personal doctor is not worried then no need to worry from your side

A. You Can easily wait till the age of 17 months if by that much time your child does not even get a single teeth then it would be a question of concern to consult a paediatric dentist but as of now you do not have to worry about it
