#asktheexpert My baby is 11 weeks old. His weight is 4.8 kg now. His birth weight is 3.4 kg. He is taking mother feed only. Whether his weight gain is normal? If not what should be done to increase his weight? Currently, giving Vitamin D3 drops in the morning.

Monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they almost double their birth weight .
