Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescrguibed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be givern to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. A nasal aspirator can do wonders for a stuffy nose. Just squeeze the air out of the aspirator and gently insert the tip into your baby’s nostril. Then slowly release the bulb so that the mucus gets sucked into it. Do the same for both the nostrils. After every use, wash the aspirator and sterilise it.
