Q.

#asktheexpert my baby has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, we are giving him thyroxin, I dnt have thyroid, dr said it was because I took stress in my pregnancy and hence baby has developed this.. it is making me feel guilty what should I do to feel better so that I can help my baby to come out of this situation.

A. hey dear it's not so that it is due to stress that you developed hypothyroidism in your baby hypothyroidism is a hereditary disease it may be present in your previous generations which cause to get in your baby so don't feel much guilty about that it's not so and just have regular follow up with your doctor or an Endocrinologist to have proper management about this
