#asktheexpert My Baby Girl Zaina is 4 Months old. She sometimes do coughing although thats irregular but still I just want to know, is it something to worry about? She also bites her lower lip and take out saliva from mouth.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor after the exact cause is diagnosed.
As the first line of treatment for relief you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syrup should be given only after a proper evaluation according grr to the type of cough .self medication may not be so helpful so please consult your doctor once. if the cough is productive you can give brozeet-ls or ambrodil syrup for now only n continue only after doctor's advice.
