#AskTheExpert my baby girl of 5 months got fever from last 2 days ,now she is ok but from days she hasn't pass motion,last night I have given 0.3 ml of collicade but it is not effective yet what should I do now pls tell

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician2 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 5 months old and she had a fever and now she is okay but she has not passed stool since last two days so mostly she is having a dehydration and low intake intake of milk

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Some babies pass stools once in four or five days while some pass even more than five times a day which are perfectly normal in breastfed babies. Touch and feel the baby's tummy. If it's hard or the baby is cranky or crying more than usual then u should consult with ur pediatrician. If not u can wait upto seven days.
