#asktheexpert my 6 month baby don't have fix pooping pattern he poops sometimes once a day sometimes no pooping and sometimes 3 to 4 times in a day he is on breastfeed and semisolids started 1 week ago

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. yes this is ok for baby it s normal for the baby to not pass stools daily as digestion can be different for everyone . If baby does not pass stool even upto 1 week it s not to worry. If more than 1 week and baby has discomfort can use glycerine suppository for relief. No syrup is given for this below 2 years
