#AskTheExpert my 5 month old boy on formula and breast feed since birth. nowadays he spits more milk is there any issue? His weight gain is there . I tried everything like burping and holding him upright for 30 min still he will spit out milk after i lay him down even after 2 hours. what should I do ??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is prdoper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
