#asktheexpert my 2.5months old baby coughing only in the morning till 11Am what should I do

A. because of cold atmosphere recold and cough most of the times because of viral infection sometimes even allergies please give steam inhalation frequently to liquefied the secretions and saline nasal drops in nose of the baby

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhckoalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. this is because the temperature dips is the morning and baby is taking time to adapt.. give steam inhalation warm compress with ajwain potli on baby chest and back use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
