#asktheexpert My 17 month old baby got a very small injury on her ear with a trimmer while shaving off her hair in a salon.I would like to know do we have to take Tetanus injection?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vaccination at this age because it is already covered in the national immunisation schedule.x
if the injury or cut is very dirty enough then the final decision of tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor.
