#AskTheExpert My 16 days old little one wakes up every hour crying and only calms down post feeding. He takes breastfeeding where each session lasts for an hour and then 15 minutes burping. He gets up again in an hour. I am only breastfeeding him. Is this normal? Earlier he used to sleep for 2.5 to 3hrs at a stretch.

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist3 years agoA. Hello mom babies have a tendency to latch on which they love to do , it feels they are taking the feed but they don’t and so they tend feel hungry frequently .
So try to take a filling foods or anything healthy before baby feed time as that would ensure good quality milk , and would be filling Enough and have talks with baby maintain an eye contact and be attentive while feeding
