#asktheexpert My 13 month old boy only babbles bababa and occasionally mama. should I be worried?

A. Hello good morning !!! If he is recognizing and responding to simple commands like come,give ,sit ,have , waving hands (hai,bye) , Social smile , mingling with same age kids then no need to worry. Give simple commands and talk to baby , avoid screen (mobile,tv) use only one language and after giving commands wait for baby to respond while he imitate some of your words then repeat with him for encouraging. Praise for little things which gives them encouragement, confidence.
