Q.
#asktheexpert Me and my husband dont have dermatitis or allergy. What could be the possible reason for my baby's eczema. I had taken proper diet and care during pregnancy.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. dear Mum eczema is quite common form of skin allergy during the infancy period and not always related to genetics
it can be managed with proper medication and appropriate baby soap
it eases many times as child grows
exclusively breastfeed till 6 months it helps to keep allergy at bay

Author of questionMom of a 1 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. Thank you for your response Dr Minal. I am currently using Tedi Bar soap, Himalaya shampoo, Siloderm Mixi cream and Dermadew Aloe cream.
Any other things that i should use or any dietery restrictions I should follow.
