Q.

#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko My baby is 2 months old. How long should a diaper be worn continuously? Should I use diaper rash cream every time I put on diapers? What is the maximum number of hours diapers can be worn throughout the day? (We Don't have A.C. in our house.)

A. Change the diaper every 2-3 hours. You will have to change it every time it gets wet or soiled immediately and clean the area with water. Pat dry after that. Use a good quality rash cream or coconut oil every time you change the diaper.apply a thick layer of diaper cream. Give diaper free time to your baby for a rew minutes everyday. Also try to use cloth nappy during the day and diaper at night or whenever required occasionally. Use the right sized diaper. Baby will be uncomfortable in a too big or too small diaper. Use super absorbent disposable diapers. Use a good brand diaper that will soak up well and not make the baby feel uncomfortable. Make sure you keep the diaper area clean and dry. Clean skin with baby wipes or water and pat dry
