Hello dear 
The pain could be because of increased blood flow in the vaginal vessels.
It is called as ‘lightning crotch’ 
It could also happen due to the pressures of the baby’s head on the lower part of the uterus

yes can be UTI.. a lot of brands will be trying to impress you but you try to see your need and cost. thats better always. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatment
