#asktheexpert is it better to use cloth diaper overnight. my son is fully wet by the morning (duration between 8 to 10 hours) whenever he is wearing cloth diaper though the diaper is from a top brand.

A. Diaper should not be used 24 hrs as it causes diaper rash which usually results when there is prolonged irritation of skin leading to infection or allergy. Most common cause of skin irritation is when diaper is left for too long or the fecal matter in diaper rubs against the delicate skin. so diaper should be changed evfery 3-4 hrs at least and avoid using diaper for all time . fgive diaper free interval in between which is very important .

A. Hello dear parent! Try to change the cloth diaper as soon as it is soiled. Maintain a good personal hygiene. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil for better skin health.
