Q.

#asktheexpert I was planning a day schedule for my 6y6m old boy. 7:30am -wake up 8:30am - leave for school 1.50pm - return from school 2.30pm - lunch 4.30pm - nap 7:00-7:30pm - snack 8.00pm - study 10.00pm - dinner 11.30-12.00pm - bedtime I think it can be better. I was thinking, if I could skip the afternoon nap and replace it with 1hr study, then playtime and dinner after light snack, will it be okay? something like this: 7:30am - wake up 8:30am - school 1.50pm- return from school 2:30pm- lunch 4:00pm - study 5:00pm - play outdoor 6:00pm - light snack 7:30pm - dinner 8:30pm -bedtime kindly suggest if this would be okay? plus the interval from 8:30pm to 7:30am is long in terms of food intake, will it matter?

A. Hello dear parent! The second one seems to be better definitely. Communicate more effectively with your child. Encourage your child to express and share. Gradually include activities that keep your child engaged in a positive way. Serve your child healthy foods in cute Babyhug stainless steel bowls and plates to encourage healthy eating
