#asktheexpert I’m mother of 4months old , how to control hair fall and how long it will shed ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hair fall is most of the time multifactorial. it is very commonly seen during the postpartum period usually in the lactation time.
Most important is the requirement of proper nutrition where a diet rich in good amount of protein iron and other micronutrients is important. you can take protein powder and multivitamin supplements for same.
Iron and Zinc also plays important role.
Other factors could be hormonal disbalance specially thyroid hormone .so can get a test done to rule out.
A good care along with maintainance of proper hygiene is also necessary .
Use good product specially a mild shampollyo with a good conditioner.
