#asktheexpert I have followed all vaccination as per the chart which was given by the birth time in hospital.Polio drop is needed or not. opv ,ipv already mentioned in the vaccination chart

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination.
Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has rddfreceived polio vaccine before as per the schedule then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additiontal vaccine.
For polio vaccine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .
