#AskTheExpert I have completed 6 months post delivery I am breastfeeding mother should I start the sinus treatment. Please let us know the reason if not.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. Pseudoephedrine and phenylephedrine are oral decongestants for treating nasal congestion caused by colds, allergies, and sinus infections. Both ingredients are common in over-the-counter medications and considered safe while breast-feeding.

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom. Yes u can start with the sinus treatment. There is no problem in that. Make sure to tell ur doctor that u are breastfeeding mother so that the medicines are prescribed accordingly. Take care
