#asktheexpert...how to tackle when a kid of two years of age got some splinter shred (small) in the feet. it's not easy to hold the baby tight to take it out...

A. More often than not, splinters are teensy-weensy and too small to grab with tweezers. If the splinters in your child's foot are tiny, seem near the surface of the skin, and do not cause much discomfort, simply soak the affected area in warm soapy water several times a day for a few days.
