Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it's due to gas so. Gas issue is quite common in newborn babies. Give only mother milk to baby avoid use of bottle feeding burp baby after every feed for 20 minutes my keeping baby on shoulder. You can do cycling motion of the legs and also massage tummy gently . Can give gastica drops 1ml to baby for gas. Colic pain is maximum at night time and and makes the baby cry whole night give drops meftal spas or colicaid 0.5 ml at evening or night time .

Hiccups Already normal and common with kids at this age you actually cannot do anything to prevent it it is going to start and stop on its own only so you cannot do anything about it is it is said that the large intestine develops well during that time so I don’t think so there’s anything wrong with it
