mam,kids do this when they feel stressed or anxious or when they try to mimic others.
so first check any of your family member including you may have this habit .
and your child might try to imitate .
make sure your child is well cared.
offer lots of love and affection.
but please don't scold or yell at your child for this.
just gently remove his/her hand from mouth.
