#asktheexpert hlw doc, I m a mother of 11 month old baby, from lst 5months my baby urinate yellowish, back 3months I meet doc 4 dis bt he said 'it's ok'. Bt from lst 5 days he use to do pressure while urinating nd d colour is also yellow. Kindly rply what to do????

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. If the baby is having trouble while passing urine then you should rule out urinary tract infection. Apart from that if it is a baby boy you should also rule out phimosis Write Your Answer Here

Apply little pressure while passing out urine is normal in babies. Baby should pass out urine 6-8 times in a day. Passing little yellow urine is normal.
Ensure that ur baby takes enough water.
This will help to keep ur baby hydrated.
