Q.

#asktheexpert hii sir...my baby is 4 months old..she is not peeing as normal..and she passes less urine... from today morning she is not active as normal..she is always sleepy...is anything cause of concern...

A. urinary pattern in small children is totally different. they may pass more than 20 times per day urine also and sometimes they will pass urine again and again in only one hour. the minimum requirement would be more than 7 times in 24 hours. if it is less give more breast feeding or milk and if it is more no need to worry ifc the child is not having any other complaint. there is no problem if the urine frequency is normal and the child is not passing urine at night

A. If your child is suffering with something or if you’re giving some medication because of paracetamol or child could be sleepy but if your child is generally sleepy in that case I would recommend you to consult your doctor once regarding the same
