#asktheexpert hii I have 2 years old twins boy and girl but still they are Start to speaking simple words not speaking full sentences so Is it normal or we need to consult speech therapist?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your twin babies are 2 years old and they don’t speak properly but monologues words like mamma and papa so don’t worry it’s very normal and for sentences needs 3 years of age

By 2 years old, most toddlers will say 50 words or more, use phrases, and be able to put together two-word sentences. No matter when they say their first words, it's a sure bet they are already understanding much of what is said to them before that.
