#asktheexpert Hi, my sister has low hemoglobin 7% and she is 5 month pregnant. What do u advice for her? Her dr has given her some iron injections in IV so is it safe during pregnancy?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. safe. get HPLC. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child
