Q.

#asktheexpert hi.. my baby is 2.5 months old.. while he's sleeping in the morning times he's sleeping for a stretch of 5-6 hrs without demanding for feed. can I wake him up for every 3 hrs and feed or let him be? also when he's awake he's demanding for feed every 1.5 to 2 hrs..how come these 2 are very opposite situations?

A. That is completely alright if your child is sleeping for a longer duration at a stretch and when child is asking for a feed 1 1/2 to 2 hours then sometimes maybe the feeding that you’re giving is only enough for that much time so that is completely normal if your child is gaining proper weight then trust me there is no issue at all
