#AskTheExpert Hi my baby is 14 months old and she weighs about 8.6 kgs. from today morning she is having running nose, could you please suggest any drops or syrup. we are using naso clear but there is no result.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness that may occur with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it may be allergic too.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalatotion would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it it will be better to take only under medical guidance.
