#AskTheExpert Hi, My 21days old baby doesnt take breast milk directly..We need to pump it he starts crying when taken for breast feed, What can be done? Sometimes when i use nipple cap he takes but that too very rare.He is on formula feed now.Please suggest how to make him take breast feed and stop formula feed

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. try to correct the position. Breast feeding should be at least till 6 month of age. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .
