Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and  if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion  it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be assocdwiated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

F If it keeps repeating really very fast then I think your child is probably just allergies to weather change or something it is allergy it is not due to common cold or something if you want to be more sure about it I’ll advise you to get a check with an allergy doctor and if required you can take in a guidance from a homeopathic doctor as well
