#asktheexpert hi , does placenta maturity have any negative effect on baby growth . my placenta is in 3rd grade maturity since 25th week.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. if the Placenta is grade 3 at 25 weeks yes you need to have regular follow up with your doctor as if placental calcification occurs you need to get delivered as soon as possible
