#asktheexpert hi doctor, Recently my baby had high fever and it went and striked his brain ,hence he had febrile seizure for 30 minutes, now he is little fine , my pediatrician suggested to do a brain scanning , so now shall i go ahead n do the scanning ? and next time how can i prevent this kind of seizures to occur

Hello, your baby boy is 14 months old and he is having febrile convulsions so don’t worry just give him iron medicine and keep with you tablets frisium 5 mg and give it if he gets a fever more than 100 degrees and have cold water sponges too and take care upto 5 years.
