#AskTheExpert hi doctor.. My son is 9yrs old.. He is having severe dandruff on his scalp.. pls guide in using appropriate oil and shampoo and also diet

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. You can try neem oil. mostly it will disappear means It will usually go on its own. Just apply coconut oil and give massage to baby head. Use a soft comb to remove the flakes and wash baby head with mild shampoo or medicated shampoo. Too much oil application and shampoo application should be avoided. Frequent hair wash also should be avoided. Use seperate comb for baby always.
