#asktheexpert Hello Sir, our baby's vaccination Hep A (Hepatitis A vaccine) was scheduled on May 2nd. We all got fever in family, so we could not take him for vaccination. He also got fever on April 22nd for two days. can we take him for vaccination now ? is it safe to go to hospital as there are multiple covid cases in my area. please advice

A. it is always advisable for the baby to take the vaccination according to schedule for having good immunty but at present it is better to postpone all vaccinations to the baby till the end of pandemic

A. hello...a little delay in vaccine is absolutely fine... don't worry and don't take baby outside innsuch situation...For the best protection, vaccinations need to be done on time. ‘On time’ means on (or as close as possible to) the due date ..
