#asktheexpert Hello Sir My daughter is 2 months old. And she gets bloating and pain in her stomach almost every night and evening. My pediatrician has prescribed colocaid. Please guide us on how safe this medicine is.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. uGas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut .
other factors include cow's milk introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feekoding, not giving proper burping after each feed.
Digestive enzymes like aglozyme drops can be given as suyggested by doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .
