#AskTheExpert hello sir,my daughter 5 yr 8 month .Her wt only 16 kg.how we increase her wt .it is still 15 -16 kg from last year

A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common. Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL- can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

A. So practical your child should be 19 KG as of now since you are saying the way it has not been increase in last one year so that means there is an issue of stagnant wait I would recommend you to consult your paediatrician as that’s going to be really very importantWrite Your Answer Here
