#asktheexpert Hello sir good morning My baby is 6 months old but currently she is suffering from cough n cold ,so please suggest any remedy?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearizng the mucus
try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation .
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be givzen only after medical consultation.
for fever and pain give paracetamol
continue the regular diet which is being given to the child
