#asktheexpert Hello, my toddler is 1 year 10 months old now. She is not at interested in eating food, just likes to drink milk. Also, don't like fruit juices, just like to snack few fruits but very less quantity. How to increase her appetite? please help

A. Mix mint leaves juice in yogurt. Mix just pinch of black pepper ( it helps in the secretion of gastric juices).Mint is also used to combat stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, and to increase hunger. Also make eating time interesting and encourage self eating. Involve your child in each process of food preparation from buying things and preparing to get his interest in food. Take his opinions. Eat with him. Try to have meals all members sitting together

A. Ho. The child is not interested in eating it doesn’t matter what is the appetite of your child first you have to develop an interest of your child in terms of eating and that can happen once you start sharing your plate with your child try to eat from the same plate because when a child sees how properly parents are eating and enjoying the food and child also tries to follow that
