A. Vomitings are part and parcel of pregnancy. If you’re having excessive acidity, then take Syrup Gaviscon, which is safe during pregnancy and also postpartum. Try reducing spice content in your food.

A. One traditional Indian home remedy for treating nausea during pregnancy is to consume a mixture of ginger and lemon: 1. **Ginger**: Ginger is known for its anti-nausea properties and can help alleviate feelings of nausea and vomiting. You can consume ginger in various forms, such as ginger tea, ginger ale, ginger candies, or simply chewing on a small piece of fresh ginger. 2. **Lemon**: Lemon has a refreshing scent and flavor that can help reduce nausea. Squeeze fresh lemon juice into water or herbal tea and sip it throughout the day. You can also inhale the aroma of freshly cut lemon or suck on lemon slices for relief. 3. **Ginger-Lemon Drink**: One popular remedy is to make a ginger-lemon drink by boiling sliced ginger in water, then adding a squeeze of lemon juice and honey to taste. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before drinking. This concoction can help soothe the stomach and alleviate nausea. 4. **Peppermint**: Peppermint is another herb that can help relieve nausea. You can drink peppermint tea or inhale the aroma of peppermint oil to help calm the stomach. 5. **Fennel Seeds**: Fennel seeds have digestive properties and can help reduce nausea and bloating. You can chew on a few fennel seeds or steep them in hot water to make fennel tea. 6. **Cardamom**: Cardamom is commonly used in Indian cuisine and has digestive properties that can help alleviate nausea. You can add cardamom pods to herbal teas or chew on them directly for relief. It's important to note that while these home remedies are generally safe for most pregnant women, it's always a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider before trying any new remedy, especially if you have any underlying medical conditions or concerns about your pregnancy. Additionally, if nausea persists or is severe, it's important to seek medical attention for proper evaluation and treatment.
