#AskTheExpert Hello Madam.... My son is 8 months old... He don't eat properly and his diet very less than what should be... Also he doesn't look like a 8 months old baby... What should I feed him for proper growth?

A. Dear parent, for proper growth of your 8 months old child, you should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. You can give foods like ragi porridge, homemade cerelac, cereal pulse, kheer, khichadi, dal rice. Seasonal fruits and vegetables Curd, paneer, cheese. Eggs and non veg foods Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Add ghee to baby’s food. Give 3 meals a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.
