#asktheexpert hello Dr, my child is 3.7 years old. she has a 3 inch swelling near her vagina ( around the lower abdomen). this swelling is not permanently there; it only comes and disappears, with no pain. can you explain, please. thank you. faraz

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. You might be talking about Hernia and it is advisable to consult a pediatric surgeon and get it evaluated as early as possible and they will tell you what to do next depending upon the findings
