Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello Dr. my 3 months old has one side preference .though we keep changing his position and he looks on other side too while playing but after some time he turns his head to preferential side. While sleeping also, he turns his head to that side, I change his head position to opposite of favourable side but the turns away after some time. because of this he has got flat spot on his head on one side. How should I treat torticollis? and how do I reshape his flat spot. pls suggest any good pillow or exercise.

A. Hi please ignore the first part I would just like to say that it is a very normal behaviour of the child I would just tell you with this case I completely agree that it is going to be flat if your child sleep it’s a good idea to use a pillow otherwise you can use that that way it would be little tough for your child to change the site one place so I think that would be a good thing that you can use as of now

A. This kind of a behaviour is completely normal with a child but if you want to sit for both the side that you will have to actually start expressing your breast feed and give it to the child with the help of a bottle otherwise your breast will be completely the schedule so you just have to make sure that you do itWrite Your Answer Here
