#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor. Our baby boy is of 3 months old, but his belly button size is not getting reduced. The size of bellybutton is big compared to usual size. So, kindly let is know how to reduce it?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age.
with growing age it regresses and goes inside

it does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated.
meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required.
